This is an under-used copper frying pan or skillet - the pan is copper with an aluminum interior coating, pretty much maintenance free.

These pans were made in the 1970s by many manufacturers in Villedieu. Aluminium linings should not be confused with copper coated aluminium - these pans are a very underrated option in copper cooking.

These pans were made for the professional market as they have all the great qualities of copper with the added benefit of aluminum - a great conductor of heat (better than stainless) and relatively maintenance free.

There are three solid aluminium rivets on the handle which are securely fixed. There are minor scratches on the base from storage and movement.

It weighs 1.33 kilos 2 lbs 15.2 ozs and is 28 cm across 11 inches and is 4 cm 1 1/2 inches deep - 53cm 20 3/4 inches in total length

This has a 1.5mm body the majority of it copper.
