This is gorgeous. A beautiful brandy/cognac warmer that has been made in Villedieu les Poeles in Normandy by Havard of Villedieu - fully stamped on the side with the Havard logo and Villedieu.

This has been cleaned inside and out, the tin is in exceptional, new, hand wiped 100% food grade tin lining.

It has a iron handle and a hand wiped tin lining. Really fabulous quality. This can be used to warm brandy or cognac before you coat your Crepe Suzette or Christmas pudding, so the food is not cooled down and then it is 'flambeed' or set alight to reduce the alcohol and also to make a spectacular display.

It is tinned so you can melt butter in it too!

It weighs 360 grams 12.7 ozs.
The bowl is 8cm or 3 1/8 across, 5cm 2 inches high
it is 29 cm about 11 1/2 inches approx in length and holds 200 mls or 7 fluid ounces.

There are some surface scratches and some signs of wear and use.
