This is a superb piece of French kitchen kit - a real professional super looker that will sit on your hob or your oven like it was meant to be. It has a tin lining and iron handles, it has hand made hammered copper rivets, this beautiful thing is sturdy and lovely to look at. This has been refurbished and has new tin, the lid is fitted but not too tight.

This is a smaller casserole, ideal for two peoples main dish.

It has some minor signs of use and cleaning, the interior is in beautiful condition, the swirls of the hand wiped tin are evident as are some minor drips on the walls. There are minor surface scratches, especially on the base, there is some copper loss on the lid, there are no dents scrapes or deep scratches, there is one minor pin dent in the base.

This is a ready made heirloom or the best bit of equipment you are likely to have in your professional kitchen. This is a really useful casserole with lid.
